I had 2 ICSI-fertilized embryos transfered on day 2. One was 2-cell, fresh; the other resulted from an egg that had been cryopreserved, had fertilized, but had not yet begun to divide. Amazingly, one of these implanted and i am pregnant. However, my hcg at 13 dpt was only 35. At 16 dpt it was 77 and 18 dpt it was 179. The 1st hcg was low, but it seems to be doubling now. The embryologist had said that frozen eggs sometimes take much longer than fresh ones to begin to divide. Could that be why mt hcg started out so low, or do you think this is a doomed pregnancy?
