Hi Doctor, thank you for your work here. I wondered what information you may have regarding embryo donation. My husband and I are awaiting day 10 of our CCCT test and then will make decision between trying IVF or Embryo Donation.

FSH one year ago 6.2
FSH one month ago 9.2
FSH/E2 3 days ago 8.1/18
taking 100mg of clomid days 3-7
day ten taking FSH levels again.

I am in West Virginia where the experience does not seem great and will be traveling to Cleveland Clinic in Ohio for another opinion on Oct. 26.

I would love your feedback on my situation and how you would go about treating me as well. Also, would you recommend going thru agency if we decided on embryo donation or not?

Hi. Sorry I can't be of much help with regard to the interpretation of your hormone levels. This is more of a medical question and I'm not a physician. Perhaps Dr Jacob could give you his opinion on the Infertility 101 message board.

Some programs have their own embryo donation program (as we do), but the selection and availability is always low. Agencies will provide more selection, but will charge a significant fee to "broker" the transaction.
