Although the methodology for egg freezing is evolving and improving, its not quite ready for prime time. Egg freezing is still considered experimental and you are correct that the reports of pregnancy from frozen-thawed eggs are sporadic and few. Since the rate limiting step is how we freeze the eggs, the logic that you should bank now and hope that the technology improves by the time you are ready to thaw is flawed. Since they were already frozen with a sub-optimal method, the post-thaw survival rate will be low.
Another option is to use donor sperm to generate embryos. Embryos freeze and thaw much better than eggs. So, if she's considering banking on the possibility of getting prenant with or without Mr Right, this would be my suggestion.
