The sperm's contribution to the embryo development does not kick in until Day 3, so any abnormalities observed prior to Day 3 are a result of egg "quality". There is no easy answer for your situation. If the stimulation was of adequate length (i.e. minimum of 9 days), then the eggs had adequate time to undergo maturation in the follicles prior to retrieval (a short stimulation can result in immature egg cytoplasm and cause slow development). I can't think of anything else that results in slow, but otherwise good quality embryos. The only other explanation is that's just the way your eggs are and nothing can change that.
