Here's my background. I'm 28, husband 29. He has low counts, morphology and motility. We did 2 IUIs to no avail. We started with a new RE and did the SCSA test. His results came back with 50% DFI.
We did IVF with ICSI. 9 eggs retrieved, 7 were mature, 6 ICSIed. His count: 11 million, 2% morphology, 10% motility. 2 grade A embryos were remaining for a 5 day transfer. Both were put back in.
At 11 days past transfer my beta was 550. At 14 days past it was 1797. First ultrasound at 5 weeks 6 days confirmed one baby "stuck", faint heartbeat. Ultrasound at 6 weeks 6 days baby measured 9.9mm with a heart rate of 160. Ultrasound at 7 weeks 6 days baby measured 1.5 cm. I've been released back to my OBGYN.
My RE suggested having a genetic test done that measures the back of the baby's neck at 11 weeks. Here are my questions:
1) What is the miscarriage rate at this point? I'm 8 weeks 6 days pregnant.
2) Are we at a greater risk for having something wrong with the baby because of my husband's DFI?
