After a D3 transfer, I was told 24hrs of laying down and no exercise or unusual activities. With it taking anywhere from 2-5 days for implantation would bed rest for that duration be recommended???

Hi Dr Smith,
Just yesterday i had my first FET using day 3 embryo. This morning i went to the toilet and noticed a small spot of blood on the tissue. is this normal for day 3 transfer and does it indicate the embryo implanting into the lining?

The small amount of blood is likely from trauma to the cervix that occurred during the embryo transfer. Implantation does not occur until Day 5-6 of embryo development and peri-implantation "spotting" occurs 7-10 days after transfer.
