My husband had a semen analysis and the results were:

volume 71 million
motility 65%
Kruger morphology 4.5%

We are gonna go through our first IVF and the doctor recommended ICSI. Would you recommend ICSI as well based on the low morphology rate?

Yes, if the morphology score is the same or worse on the day of IVF. There are simply not enough normally shaped sperm to get the job done using conventional IVF insemination. This is an apprpriate use of ICSI.
