Dear Dr. Smith,

After numerous failed IUI and IVF cycles we had our first Beta positive yesterday! My level was at 1440. I go in again on Monday for another test. We want to remain cautiously optimistic. Should my numbers double on Monday or increase slightly? What number in your medical expertise should we be looking for? If everything looks good when does an RE schedule an ultrasound and tell you to look for an OB/GYN. I am scared to go to an OB/GYN because my RE monitors me so closely. Any advice would be appreciated.
